Autumn Pause

Ah we are in the heart of Fall, I feel a sense of optimism in the crisp air. The kind where there is space to create rise and fall again. Adjust to the new season and allow the other one to fade as flowers do. 

I've been having the most fun building this website and am now trying to rush these journaled words. But as looking outside the scene seems to be asking me to pause and reflect, Im beyond excited within this shared space for the freedom to fail, speak, and try new things. 

After working in a traditional floral setting there were so many practices I wanted to retire that the earth has no need for and the floral industry has out grown. Such as floral foams, other single use plastic, harmful sprays and glues. Not to mention the amount of waste. Beyond sustainability matters, where the flowers come from, the farmers pay and quality of life matters too…it all does!

Like many things in our modern world, the fluidity of the floral industry has faded with the push of consumerism and monopoly. Yet, Flowers are so much more than a standard. They are an invitation to pause enter the present moment rethink or think deeper. Flowers harness connectivity and joy. So within this space we will discuss featured flowers, season shifts, farmer showcase and other floral tid-bits and to-dos. So slow down with me this fall season and gain insight from the earth as we worship.
